Jennifer Rene Psaki

 Jennifer Rene Psaki is an American political advisor who worked as the 34th White House press secretary from 2021 to 2022. She is a member of the Democratic Party and previously served as the White House deputy Press Secretary (2009) as well as the White House deputy Communications Director (2009-2011), the spokesperson for the US Department of State (2013-15) and the White House communications direct (2015-17). Psaki was a contributor to political campaigns for CNN from 2017 until 2020. Psaki started her career in 2001 as an official political contributor for CNN. She worked on re-election campaigns for Tom Harkin (Iowa Democrats) for the U.S. Senate, and Tom Vilsack (Iowa Governor). Psaki then served as the press secretary deputy for John Kerry's presidential election campaign. Psaki also served as director of communications for Joseph Crowley (U.S.) and was the regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki was back in the political arena in 2012, serving as the press secretary of President Obama's 2012 campaign. 20 years ago, Psaki was named spokesperson for the United States Department of State on February 11, 2013. [20] It was speculated that she would replace Jay Carney as White House Press Secretary.[21] However, Josh Earnest was announced to succeed Carney on May 30, 2014. The White House welcomed her back to the White House in 2015 as the director of communications, and she remained there until the closing of the Obama presidency.
